Hi!
This section is to share what I use on my computer for my web and stuff so people can use these possibly hard to find resources.

General Computer/Internet

Shortcuts for Windows - A comprehensive list of shortcut keys used in Microsoft Windows XP

Mozilla - Mozilla is an awesome web browser and alternative to Internet Explorer.  It has built in pop-up blocker and ability to disconnect from the server by a single click to cancel loading of a page or anything.  It also has tabs on the browser so you can view multiple web sites and scroll through them all easier.

Flash MX Forums - For people who use Macromedia Flash, these forums Contain tips and tricks of the trade.

Zoom-in Feature - Use this to zoom into graphics on the web without having to save it onto the hard drive and opening graphic edit programs.

The Java Script Source - Over 2,000 Java scripts to use on a website.  I used many of these for my first site many years ago.  Remember when dancing graphics and random background midis playing “Barbie girl” and “MMMBop” were all the rage? Pepridge Farms remembers... I mean my site looked like that thanks to Java!

Graphics, Animations & Backgrounds

Animation Library  - This site is a library of wonderful animations.  From bullets to alphabets to animals, you can find what you need here.

IconBazaar - My absolute FAVORITE site for backgrounds.  It has hundreds of pages of them and the best part is that you click on a thumbnail and you go to a page that has the picture tiled in the background! Just be sure to hit “NO” to install a program from Gain publishing.

Pro Draw - Excellent site for buttons in all different colors, shapes and sizes.

Barry’s Clipart Server - Site for, what else but clip art!

Akiyoshi Kitaoka - Although this isn’t really related to web publishing or anything, it is just really REALLY neat computer aided optical illusions.  Some could claim these pictures are animated! But they’re not.  \

Sounds

Find Sounds - Search for all kinds of sound effects, including searching for resolution and sample rate.  What’s cool is you see a graphical version of the sound so you can tell by the frequency and amplification (by the color and the height) what the sound will look like.

A1 Free Sound Effects - Awesome site with many of the most useful and most common sound effects.  No searching required, and all sounds are quality!

Midi Database - Download midi music files for free.
